Serve God Now, While You Are Young! 2 Kings 23:25

Before Josiah, there was no king like him who turned to the Lord with all his heart and with all his strength according to all the law of Moses, and no one like him arose after him. 2 Kings 23:25.

And he was crowned king at the tender age of 8!

The time to serve God best is when you are young! Don’t wait! Don’t tell yourself, I’ll read the Bible when I’m older. I’ll tithe after I have a real job. I’ll serve God after I have more time, or after I’m through having fun.

If you postpone serving God, you will never serve God. You will live a compromised life and miss out on the adventure and all of His great rewards.

Dad's Daily Devotional began as text messages to my family. I wanted my teenagers to know their father was reading the Bible. But they were at school by then.
